The ExitDayAlarm is a cost effective and easily installed unit used to monitor and control panic doors on emergency exit routes. The device is ready to be plugged in and is activated via a radio reed contact so does not require any complicated installation. OPERATION When the panic door is opened an alarm signal is sent via the radio reed contact to the ExitDayAlarm and high decibel sounder is activated. This is further enhanced with an additional flashing light mounted on the unit. The ExitDayAlarm can be mounted up to 20m away from the radio reed contact. With the addition of repeaters this distance can be increased to the application Authorised personnel can use the door without triggering the alarm by the use of a key.
