exit monitoring products. Designed to assist in compliance with the new
European EN regulations introduced in 2004 governing the use of mechanically
operated emergency and panic locks. Acting as sole UK distributor for
Hamburg based GfS, who have been involved with the development of emergency
exit monitoring systems since 1977, Access Protection offer a variety
of innovative product solutions.
ExitDoorShield – a new product designed
to secure an emergency exit door whilst allowing it to open
with a one handed operation as governed by EN179. This easily
installed unit can be used to protect door handles or windows.
ExitDayAlarm – device used to supervise
and control panic doors on emergency routes. A plug in unit
with radio reed contact allows for simple installation whilst
providing an effective alarm signal if triggered
ExitHandleShield – installed over the
door handle of an emergency exit to prevent it from being
accidentally opened. These economical alternatives for door
security are ideal for securing low risk emergency exits and
escape windows and offer a patented installation system which
means that the cover can be re-used
ExitPanicbarAlarm
– 3 different types of panic bar alarm monitoring on
emergency exit doors whilst allowing people to escape with
a one handed operation in the event of an emergency in accordance
with EN1125
